Thankful Thursday

I'm thankful that even though we didn't get to go to our boat last weekend it appears that we'll be able to this coming weekend. At least it's looking good so far. Here's where our boat was Thursday through Saturday morning.

I'm thankful for a good mechanic that knew to check everything that needed checking while she's on the hard. It appears that the rudder packing needed replaced. It's important to have a dry bilge. The boat went back into her slip on Saturday and Tim figures he'll be done with the work Tuesday evening. It will be great to have the boat every weekend again.

I'm thankful that the weekend we didn't have a boat to enjoy we had tons of rain. It rained and then it rained some more. All weekend long. So the folks that went on the cruise to Rio Vista had a lot of rain to contend with. Tough when it's supposed to be a BBQ outside. I'm sure they took the party into the restaurant since they were catering the event anyway.
