I'm thankful that today is Saint Patrick's Day. I love all things about this day of celebration. Especially all things that are green. I also love corned beef and cabbage, but will pass on the green beer. Happy St. Patrick's Day!I'm thankful for my caring husband that will do whatever needs doing for his family. He's had a difficult several weeks, yet he's always right there to take care of whatever needs attention. This past Saturday hubby had the difficult task of putting mother on hospice care. It's what she wants and at 96 I can't blame her. Her quality of life is poor at best and with losing her daughter on February 23rd, she's just given up.
I'm thankful that we visited a yacht club that we had been a member of several years ago. An issue took place and we left the club. This coming Saturday we'll rejoin the club we love so much. What club? Ebony Boat Club. There isn't a nicer group of people anywhere.
I'm thankful that the weather is again warming back up after several weeks of rain. We need the rain, but the sun and the warmth are most appreciated.
